Here on the Gulf Coast, the total number of properties sold in January of 2020 saw an increase of 26.8% over January of 2019. A total of 492 properties sold last month, compared to 388 in January  of 2019. The average days that properties spent on the market decreased to 89 days, compared to 94 days in January of 2019.

The total sales volume increased 34.9% over last January's numbers. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports the total amount of residential active inventory in January 2020 was 2,793 down from 3,027 in January of 2019, a 7.7% decrease. The average sales price of residential properties in Baldwin County increased more than 6% to $321,210, compared with the same period last year. The average sales price was $302,021 in 2019.
