Boater's Dream in Graham Creek Estates | Bay View Drive Foley AL

Graham Creek Estates Foley, Alabama
Alabama’s beautiful Gulf Coast is a boater’s paradise, with water, water, everywhere! As our population expands and new visitors discover our area, public-access boat launches are becoming crowded, with limited parking and long wait times to actually get on the water. Residential neighborhoods with private launches are few and far between, and most have no vacant homesites available. Right now, though, you have the rare opportunity to not only own in one of these sought-after neighborhoods, but to also build the home of your dreams! This over-sized lot is heavily-wooded, with more than enough room to park your boat and/or RV. Did I mention that the location couldn’t be better – away from the traffic and crowds, but still close to everything? I know it sounds too good to be true, but I promise, it is!

Graham Creek Estates is a hidden gem, with custom homes on estate-sized lots.  First established in the 1980s, the quiet subdivision lies on the banks of Graham Bayou, giving deep water access to Wolf Bay and beyond. Some homes are waterfront, but all residents enjoy deeded access and use of the neighborhood boat launch, parking lot, and fishing pier. With less than one hundred homesites, Graham Creek Estates is, and will remain, a low-density neighborhood, perfect for families or those who just prefer a little extra privacy. Very few subdivisions in our area still allow homeowners to keep their boats and trailers at their homes, even if the size of the lot is adequate, but Graham Creek Estates is one that does. This Bay View Drive homesite is located just across from the launch, so you could be on the water in no time!

Don’t let the peace and quiet fool you, though. Graham Creek Estates is just minutes from world-class shopping at Tanger Outlets or one of the smaller, unique local businesses in Foley or nearby Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. If enjoying great food is your passion, you won’t be disappointed. From great seafood to country cooking with a southern flair, restaurants are plentiful in this area, and most are just a short drive from your future home! If you’re looking for something to do when you aren’t on the water, OWA Entertainment Destination features 22 amusement park rides, including the scream-producing Rolling Thunder roller coaster. Graham Creek Nature Preserve is right next door, with hiking/biking trails, a disc golf course, and a public kayak launch. Our area’s biggest attractions are, of course, the sparkling white sand and warm turquoise water of our beautiful coastline. If you’re a beach lover, you can have your toes in the water and your chair in the sand in under 30 minutes.
The Baldwin County Board of Education is dedicated to excellence, and it’s evident at our local public schools. Residents of Graham Creek Estates are in the Foley School District, with students attending the just-opened Florence Mathis Elementary School, Foley Middle, and Foley High School. Go Lions! There are also several private schools in the area, including St. Benedict Catholic School in nearby Elberta, Snook Christian Academy in Foley, and Bayside Academy in Daphne.

Incredible Opportunity! |0 Tawasha Court in Tiawasee Trace | Daphne AL

Tawasha Court Tiawasee Trace Daphne AL
If you’ve been looking for the perfect place to build your dream home, look no further! There are very few homesites left in sought-after Tiawasee Trace in beautiful Daphne, Alabama, but right now, one is available. Don’t let this rare opportunity pass without taking a look! Mature trees fill this heavily-wooded, extra-large lot (approximately half an acre) that’s located at the end of Tawasha Court, a quiet cul-de-sac. Existing homes in this upscale neighborhood are mostly custom built and have mature landscaping in well-kept yards. Tiawasee Trace is close to everything Daphne has to offer, including lots of family activities, an abudance of shopping and dining possibilities, and great schools.
Daphne is a growing community, nestled in the “Eastern Shore” area, located on the eastern shoreline of Mobile Bay.  Mobile, Alabama is just eleven miles away, Pensacola, Florida is less than an hour away from this idyllic town, and the sparkling white sand and warm, turquoise waters of the beaches in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are just a short drive away. Its location couldn’t be better! It has managed to maintained its small-town feel in spite of the growth, and residents enjoy a strong sense of community. Daphne is also known as “The Jubilee City” because of the rare phenomenon that occurs only two places on Earth – Mobile Bay and Tokoyo Bay. At certain times of the year, fish, crabs, and shrimp will “beach” themselves, and those lucky enough to know it’s happening are rewarded with overflowing nets. The city is also rich in history, with records documenting Spanish and European explorers visiting the Seminole, Creek, Alabama, Tensaw, and Choctaw Indians as early as 1557. Daphne was officially settled in 1874, and served as the County Seat of Baldwin County from 1868 to 1901. Today, visitors and residents can visit the Daphne History Museum, housed in the 1858 Daphne Old Methodist Church, to learn all about it.
There’s never a lack of something to do in Daphne, no matter which activity you enjoy. If history is your thing, check out the American Sport Art Museum and Archive, General Andrew Jackson’s Oak at Village Park Preserve, and the African American School Museum. If you love the great outdoors, Daphne has an abundance of parks, including Meaher State Park, May Day Park, and Bay Front Park. Festivals are a big part of Southern Life, and The Jubilee Festival is one of the best, featuring fine arts & crafts, live local entertainment, and classic festival foods. There are also lots of unique shops and boutiques and great local restaurants, as well as national chains.
Public schools in Daphne are part of The Baldwin County Public School System under the jurisdiction of the Baldwin County Board of Education. Residents of Tiawasee Trace attend Daphne East Elementary School, Daphne Middle School, and Daphne High School. Go Trojans! There are also several private schools in the area, including nearby Bayside Academy and Christ the King Catholic School.
